WCA Fall Conference

The Wyoming Counseling Association is now accepting proposals for our Fall 2025 Conference, with a special focus on experiential and workshop-style sessions that offer hands-on learning and practical tools for counselors in diverse settings and sessions with Allied Health Professionals (PT, OT, etc) and the partnership with the counseling profession.

Please share with the Allied Health Professionals that you know and other counselors that would be interested in presenting in a more workshop/experiential style conference.

The Wyoming Counseling Association extends heartfelt thanks to all of our spring webinar presenters. Special thanks to Dr. Temple Grandin and Karol Santistevan, MS, OTR/L, ASDCS of Ropes and Roses Therapy Services for their powerful contribution to our Spring 2025 Webinar Series.

Their session, “Building Bridges: Inclusive Counseling Strategies for Supporting Individuals with Autism,” offered practical guidance and deep insight into the lived experiences of autistic individuals and the professionals who support them.

While Dr. Grandin was not available to join us live, we were honored to pre-record an engaging conversation between her and Karol. This thoughtful exchange was made possible by the Temple Grandin Eustacia Cutler Autism Fund, which supports the sharing of information and resources with families navigating autism.

Feedback from the webinar was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees highlighting Dr. Grandin’s session as a favorite and praising the diversity, quality, and accessibility of the series as a whole.

Thank you, Karol and Temple, for helping us build more inclusive, informed, and compassionate communities.
